AUL RENTAL PLATFORM
Simplifying
Property Rentals
The car rental industry is evolving, with users expecting a seamless digital experience that simplifies their journey from selecting a vehicle to completing their rental. However, many platforms struggle with inconsistent interfaces, fragmented user experiences, and a lack of standardization across multiple touchpoints.

As a Senior UX Researcher and UX/UI Designer, I was tasked with redesigning the entire rental platform to improve usability, efficiency, and accessibility. This transformation required not only a user-friendly interface but also a scalable Design System and a structured UX process to align design efforts across teams.
THE CHALLENGE
Finding a rental property should be simple, yet tenants often struggle with outdated listings, poor communication, and confusing processes. Landlords face challenges managing applications and verifying reliable tenants. The challenge: How might we create a seamless, trustworthy platform for renters and landlords alike
THE DESIGN PROCESS
With a strong UX foundation in place, I moved into the design phase, ensuring that each element was aligned with both usability goals and brand consistency.
OUTCOME
The new UX architecture, navigation, and design system significantly improved both user experience and operational efficiency:
35%
improvement in task completion rates
Users could now find and book vehicles in fewer steps.
100%
Consistent UI across all devices
A unified Design System ensured cohesion across platforms.
